Love of Humanity
Integrity
I have not hesitated to recommend Chavara Public School to a host of family and friends: after all it’s an institution built on the values of discipline, integrity and perseverance. The teachers here have excellent subject knowledge and outstanding teaching skills, they helped me do well not only for boards, but for entrance examinations as well. They are family, their every action directed towards our happiness and comfort. The environment in the school hostel is very calming and helps students in overall development and growth apart from academic performance. Two years on, I can state with confidence, and even with a tinge of pride, that education here at Chavara has changed my life for the better.
For me,Chavara was a turning point in my life. The skilfull and supportive faculty act as the backbone of Chavara, providing every progressive step to the Chavarites. The serene atmosphere and modern infrastructure have added fuel to my growth. The peer group in Chavara were friendly, helping and provided a healthy competition which strengthened my vision to reach my goal. For a hosteler like me,it became my second home.I use this platform to extent and express my gratitude towards our Principal Rev.Fr.Mathew Kareethara CMI and all my teachers.
I was a student of Chavara Public School Pala for 14 years, from 2004 to 2018. The 14 years is not just a small period in my life , it played a very essential role in making me what I am today. Not just the education, but the moral values inculcated in me helped me in choosing a career in my life.My schooling was definitely not just about success and happiness, there were a lot of situations that I had to overcome,a lot of difficulties and failures that I had to fight against, all of which, I was able to do because of my parents and my teachers .When I look back, I do realise how precious those days were, when I was really bonded with my school, teachers and friends. The opportunities that the school provided us with, helped us a lot in bringing out our talents and in developing skills.Being a Chavarite is not just about spending some time in school,it is much more than that!.Thanks to all my teachers and friends . I do count it such an incredible privilege to be a part of the Chavara community.
It is with great pleasure I begin to write about Chavara Public School , a place I’ve literally lived in for the past two years. A wonderful place of learning , with a breathtaking campus , quality faculty , beautiful church , a scenic hostel and what not. Rules are clear here for everyone. More importantly, I am proud to say that there are other institutions around that make Chavara its role model. Classrooms are spacious , ventilated and comfortable. Teachers are highly qualified individuals who have a passion for teaching and is particular about their students’success.I will take a moment to appreciate the effort that teachers have put in both our academic excellence and personal development.Hostels in the campus are clean, cared for and comfortable. The Annual Day held once a year is a great cultural appreciation while a beauty to watch. So it is with great confidence that I can reassure anyone who comes to Chavara can pass with flying colors if they are to follow the clear guidelines given there .
I’m an ex-student & now a proud alumnus, from Chavara Public School. The experiences that I got in the past two years molded me to what I am today, presently a proud electrical engineering student at IIT-Madras. I loved the constant support and fantastic facilities provided by the faculty and beloved principal Fr. Mathew Kareethara, who motivated each and every one of us, by giving continuous support to overcome the tough times (there were hardly any) and more importantly, built self-discipline in us.
When I came in, I don’t know Malayalam at all, like I was just blank when someone asked me, “Ninda peiarru endhaa.” I felt before coming into Chavara that it would be a tough time for the two that were about to come, to even survive in a place where I don’t know the language. But, when I jumped in, my assumptions were false as usual XD.
My school life at Chavara was filled by fantastic memories supported by the constant gaining of knowledge throughout the stay, aided by life skills too. The hostel life was one of the best part- with the well-facilitated hostel. The academic part was well taught in an easy to understand methodology.
The labs gave us good hands-on experience with well-versed teachers. The library facility at the school was super good with a wide range of collection of books.
These two years transformed my life from a place which I thought I could have never reached, the place which I thought were far off my reach, the IITs, to where I am now, in my favorite IIT. Getting this IIT-life without my CPS-life would have been impossible.
Thanks to CPS!
“You have a long journey to be travelled. Every journey has its own pleasures. But nothing goes along better than being titled as a Chavarite.
Stepping into CPS is not just being enrolled in a course to learn but is the key to unlock and chisel a better version of one’s self. Being a part of this institution for more than a year now, I have learnt that in the journey of being successful in life, what matters the most is to be rooted in discipline and respect for others. CPS also provides an opportunity for all the Chavarites to identify and develop their skills and potentials. With various cultural events like the Raag Tarang and the Symphonia, this institution reveals its willingness to not just mould academic scholars but also multifaceted persons.
I also consider it both a blessing and a privilege to have been a part of the School Parliament. Holding the position of the Head Girl and having the badge pinned to my left was always an energy booster. Sometimes the very little things that we do helps us to learn the most essential lessons. If on the first day, I was anxious about working with a new team, later I realized that staying optimistic and tackling all the hurdles can create success.
I am very happy and thankful for the fact that my children are studying in Chavara Public School, Pala. Chavara school with its well thought- out infrastructure, spacious class rooms and scores of other facilities ensure a relaxed atmosphere of learning. The ever-evolving styles of teaching, range of Curricular and Co-curricular Activities and Outreach to Society Programs leads to all round development of my kids. Thank you to Chavara management, teaching and non-teaching staff for all your efforts. (Testimonial from Parent)
Chavara Public School, Pala is a ‘Home Away from Home’ for its students. In Elementary classes, the emphasis in various subjects is to lay strong and life skill-oriented foundations. Teaching methodology is activity oriented and student- centric. Intrinsic discipline, leadership qualities and good communication is encouraged. The student is trained to develop his or her academic, cultural and sports ability to its full potential. (Elementary classes)

Chavara Public School Pala has been the centre of academic excellence for decades ever since its establishment. The dedicated, devoted and selfless efforts of the Principal, Fr. Sabu Koodapattu and of the Teaching staff to bring out the best in students paying individual attention to each student is praiseworthy and excellent. The school management pays keen attention in promoting skills and personality development of students and continues to inspire them to aspire high. The Principal and teachers always keep a cordial warm relationship with students and parents that make them feel at home. The excellent management of the academic and non academic activities indeed deserves great applause. As .a parent since 2017 I feel proud and blessed to be part of this abode of excellence for the school management provides the best quality education and inculcates ethical values in students than any other educational institutions.

My daughter did her Plus 2 at CPS, Pala and my word for those who wish to join this school is a strong ‘Yes’ with one hundred percent assurance. As a parent who lived abroad and sent his daughter away for the first time, her safety and well-being were a lingering concern. It had been two challenging years unsettled by the Covid pandemic. If it were not for the constant support of the Principal, Father Sabu, I don’t think we would have survived the difficult times. He was always accessible and responded punctually to all our questions and voice messages with reassuring answers. As a principal he understood the parental anxieties and stood by us patiently. He was always open to our suggestions and recommendations and took the right actions on many occasions. I must say CPS is a caring school, focused on nurturing and molding the lives of our children for a future that is unpredictable and constantly changing. They have a team of experienced teachers supported by excellent infrastructure and sports facility where one cannot be oblivious of the peaceful ambience of the school campus nestled on a lush pristine mount far from the madding crowd. Now that my daughter has almost completed the first year of her MBBS at a Government college, she recalls with fond memories the clean and class toilets, the spacious dormitories and the sumptuous food and above all the protective environment of her school as pleasant pictures to remain forever.

With its eyes firmly on evolving future ready students, the ever responsive and dynamic management of the school works diligently to create an energising environment for Chavarities. The school has excellent infrastructural facilities and is constantly adding more. The teaching community of the school is well known for its dedication, experience and personal care of students. All in all Chavara Public School is a place where students get umpteen opportunities to not just develop their curricular abilities but also a wide range of co-curricular capabilities. No wonder, my association with the school has been the best professional experience, I had. Kudos to the Chavara team lead by Fr. Sabu Koodapattu CMI for continuing the legacy of achieving.

A campus life at Chavara Public School, Pala is the best gift a parent can offer his/her child. Talking about my experience, it's my 12th year being a parent at Chavara. I have three kids, eldest one a daughter and two younger boys. My eldest daughter Serah Miya Ison passed her 12th grade in the year 2022 and is now doing her B Tech at the most reputed College in Kerala, College of Engineering, Trivandrum. Her academic skills and confidence is the best value that our School has gifted her. She still talks about that 'Chavarite Feeling' keeping all the school memories close to heart. My son Sanjay V. Ison is a 9th standard student of our School. He is a singer and keyboardist and Chavara is the place that brought out his unknown talent at the very young age of 4. He contested in Zee Keralam SaReGaMaPa reality show an year back and the support that the school and his facilities offered him is ineffable. The chance to sing infront of our Honourable Governor Shri. Arif Mohammed Khan and receive his blessings is the most unforgettable experience at Chavara Public School. My youngest son Sean V. Ison is doing his 3rd grade at Chavara Public School. He has great English speaking skills, which he gained from Chavara. He is also a keyboardist and the support he receives from School is indescribable. It's really surprising to see the ways a kid travels through completing each steps of his basic education. The Principal, Fr. Sabu Koodappattu CMI has been a very close friend of mine for the past years. He has successfully proven himself as a man of great efficiency and ideas being the backbone of the institution. The Former Principal Fr. Mathew Kareethara CMI headed the School for many years and the dedication and hardwork he had put forward for the growth of our School is unspeakable. The Teaching and Non - Teaching Staff of Chavara Public School is another main reason for the successful running of our School. The infrastructural facilities of the School is incomparable with any other School at Kerala. Chavara Public School will always be the best option you can offer your children in their journey of growth. Thank you so much and my all good wishes... Prof. (Dr.) Ison V. . Vanchipurackal Principal, Kuriakose Elias College, Mannanam.
