Plus One Admission 2018

The Senior Secondary Course (Plus One & Plus Two CBSE Syllabus) at Chavara Public School is an intensive programme aimed at preparing the students to achieve great results in their Board Examinations and to score high ranks in IIT, AIIMS, JIPMER, Medical & Engineering Entrance. It also helps them to qualify in various competitive exams conducted by reputed centers of higher learning and colleges in India and abroad.

Eligibility

Students from any Syllabus (CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, State, etc.) with good character and conduct, and with proper motivation and willingness to work seriously.

CBSE : A1 grade in all subjects in Class X.

ICSE : A minimum of 90% of marks in all subjects in Class X.

SSLC & Other Boards : A+ grade in all academic subjects in Class X.

Admission is on the basis of the result of the Aptitude Test

 

APTITUDE TEST (Mandatory)

No. of questions – 100

Type of questions – Objective, Multiple Choice Questions

Subjects – Mathematics (35 questions), Physics (35 questions) and Chemistry (30 questions). Find the topics and the Sample Question paper at the bottom of this circular.

Marks – 400 (4 Marks for a correct answer and 1 negative mark for a wrong answer).

Separate test for students of:

1) CBSE & Other Boards   2) ICSE

 

Merit list will be common for Group I & II and separate one for Group III.

How to Apply

  1. Direct application

Application form can be collected from the school office in person and the filled in application should be submitted with Half yearly Mark List.

 

Applications received after the specified date will be rejected.

The Admit Card will be given at the time of the purchase of the application.

Admit Card with photo should be produced at the time of exam.

Those who fail to produce the Admit Card with photo will not be permitted to appear

St. Vincent Boarding House (run by the CMI Fathers)

GIRLS  :

  1. Amal Jyothi Bhavan (near Cathedral Church, Pala) run by Rev. Sisters.
  2. Mary Immaculate Hostel (near St. Thomas School, Pala) run by Rev. Sisters.
  3. Vellappally Home Stay, Arunapuram (under the supervision of the School).
  4. Lisieux Convent (Run by Rev. Sisters).
  5. Anna’s Home.
  6. Raagam Hostel.

Students should either stay with the parents or in the hostel. Staying as paying guests will not be allowed under any circumstance.
